Elope… to Portland! ;)

I just returned home from a fun- and food-filled long weekend in fantastic Portland, Oregon.  I hadn’t expected it to be a “business trip” and yet weddings seemed to be following me wherever I went!  I simply had to share these two elopement opportunities:

1. Get married at the Doughnut Shop.  

Voodoo Doughnut, a Portland Institution, will not only provide you with an incredible variety of delicious flavours of donuts, but they’ll also marry you!  You can do it just for fun (the $25 “Intentional Commitment”), for real (the $225 “Legal Commitment”), or go all out—for $5000, they’ll fly you there, put you up in a hotel, show you around town, and get you hitched!!

2. Get married by a Robot Elvis.

At the 24-Hour Church of Elvis, you can step right up to the window and get hitched with your beloved!  $5′ll get you a wedding that’s not legit, but for the bargain price of $25, you’ll be wed!

So, there you have it.  Vegas has been DONE.  Elope to Portland!  ;)

Versatile Honeysuckle
